[00:00:00] Hello and welcome. This is Darren Benick of Dynamic Self Awareness. And today we are going to explore the third part of the Change series and that is how to go about making change.
[00:00:14] Whereas the previous two episodes were mainly like a, a broad kind of understanding of it, today I want to incorporate my own change process. So I'm going to be giving you a practical example of what I'm talking about. First, just a little brief recap of. In the previous episode we talked about our energetic signature. So that's this sort of biological evolutionary process that I feel is, is happening naturally within us. So it gives us the inner motivation or the inner impetus, that inner push to evolve, to get better, to expand, to add to, which is basically an ongoing change process.
[00:01:07] So how do we go about change?
[00:01:11] Well, put simply, by aligning with your energetic signature and by becoming or allowing that energy, that feeling to become more dynamic. Now I mentioned this idea of. What's not an idea, this biological process called the dopamine reward system, which helps us to implement change. It gives us that feel good feeling and it becomes like an indicator of, of when we are moving in a positive direction with our energetic signature. So when we are positively evolving, our body lets us know. And I think we've all sort of experienced this when, when things aren't going right or we're not really doing what we want to be doing, we don't feel good. Okay. And the purest example of that is depression.
[00:02:15] I don't know whether many of you or any of you, I mean, I'm sure there's people out there listening to this that have, that have experienced deep depression.
[00:02:25] It's, it's, it stops you in your tracks. It literally does not allow you to move any further until you make drastic changes. At least that has been my experience.
[00:02:38] And when I release dynamic self awareness in its fullest, I very much go into depression, not deepest depression, because I think if you are in a position where you can't get yourself out of depression, you need to seek medical help as you know to support any changes that you make. But your sort of everyday depression, I feel it's there to, to tell you something, that you need to sort of stop and rethink what you're doing, how you're doing it, why you're doing it.
[00:03:16] So that's, I guess for me is the first step when I want to make changes is that I sort of reconnect with this energetic signature, with this feeling that I, that I've discovered in my own life. And there's different there's very definite ways of doing that.
[00:03:37] I may or may not have mentioned in previous episodes that, you know, you can get a sense of this feeling.
[00:03:46] The way I sort of first became aware of it is there would be certain situations that I would be in that would trigger it. And that might just be a breeze or it might be a certain feeling or a certain memory would come up.
[00:04:00] And as this, this feeling, this energetic signature was triggered, it felt, it just felt like me. It felt as if it truly embodied who I was. And then I started to become more aware of certain actions that I took or certain, certain things that I did or things that I was good at would, would bring this, this sensation, this feeling on. And again, it would sort of things that I did that, that were closely related to that feeling boosted that feeling even more. And so I started to make decisions. I started to key in to tune into this or align with this energetic signature and use it to help me to make decisions. So things that empowered this feeling, I did more of and I followed.
[00:05:02] Things that detracted from that feeling, I tried to let go of.
[00:05:08] So when we are looking into how to go about change, for me that's the first step. And this might seem backward that we first go into a feeling instead of trying to make direct changes, but for me, once you're in that feeling, that's your power source. So without that inner feeling, if we're just trying to make these external changes with the same feeling that we have now, this, that's, that's willpower. That's willfully trying to hold a pattern of energy in place rather than embodying it and, and feeling it and using it to empower ourselves.
[00:05:53] We, you know, we set up these, these constructs and hope that they're going to see us through. And what I've found is me personally, it doesn't work that like eventually that, that willpower runs out, you know, and we, you know that this is the case, you know, that you've tried to make changes in the past and they've maybe lasted a few months, a few weeks, a few days, maybe even just a few hours before we drop back into those, those old patterns. So we want to first connect with that, that, that underlying pattern, that underlying energetic signature. And then we can use that to, to, as our sort of base note, I guess, to then underlie the different areas that we need to align with to make those changes. So those underlying those. There's three aspects to dynamic self awareness, and that's body awareness, mind awareness, and energetic awareness. So if we have that energetic signature as our base note, we can then go into our body awareness and start to. Whenever we are in our body, we want to start to generate this feeling. And then we can add to that. Okay.
[00:07:15] That links into our mind awareness. So we're starting to use our mind to generate these new patterns based on that energetic signature. So as an example, if I want to become more calm, I first need to tune in to my body of where it's at.
[00:07:35] That's that.
[00:07:37] Why do we want to change? Because we don't feel good. I've identified that I don't feel good because I'm. I don't feel calm. My body's jazzed or over, you know, it's stressed or it's. It's being overstimulated, stimulated.
[00:07:53] So I want to implement calm. My.
[00:07:56] Why do I want to do this? Because I've tuned into that, my energetic signature and my, my base nature is a calming.
[00:08:05] It's a. It's one of calm.
[00:08:08] So then I can use my mind to then implement different concepts to do with calm. So I can add to that base calm level by being calm in my actions, by being calm in my responses, by being calm in my movements, by being calm in my breathing, by being calm in the way I drive.
[00:08:33] Okay?
[00:08:35] So if you think of the calmness as, as a field and then the actions and our emotions that come out of that is like this, these waves of energy, they come out and they go out and then back in and they're like, you know, they're like pulses.
[00:08:54] Without that base feeling, the calmness feels fake because it's not attached to anything.
[00:09:05] And so if we then come in and say, oh, I want to. I need a new job, if that doesn't incorporate this, this base feeling of calmness, we're going to be trying to get a new job and change areas of our life with an agitated field.
[00:09:24] And we are only going to come up against the same problems.
[00:09:30] So we want to align with that base feeling. We want to use it in our everyday body awareness. We want to activate awareness of our mind and our patterns by incorporating that concept of calmness.
[00:09:50] And then to add to that, we bring in energetic awareness. So we start to get a sense of what calm feels like for us, and we get a sense of how to identify calmness in different aspects of our life. The more we do this, the more we can, the more that you will draw in calmness into your life if you are agitated and you will resonate with other things that are agitated. If you are calm, you will resonate with other things and draw towards you things that are calm.
[00:10:29] This takes a little bit of a practice. Sorry, a little bit of practice, but it is wholly dependent on your awareness of it. And that's why, that's why I call this dynamic self awareness is because it has two parts. It has the becoming aware of it and then is using that awareness to create the change and to live. So it's happening in the moment, but dynamically. So I guess in the past we might think of things when we think of meditation or mindfulness or creating these feelings and emotions inside of us, that's one aspect. And then we go off out into life and a lot of times that gets forgotten. So dynamic self awareness is about identifying these base states that we want and they can be incorporated into your energetic signature or you can work on it, you know, a piece by piece. So for me, when I first started getting into this and discovering this, I would. I really wanted to become okay. So I worked.
[00:11:40] And the reason I did that is because I identified that my body was highly, highly stressed. It was, it was always tight and always constricted. And literally my toes would hold onto the ground and my shoulders were, were scrunched in because I was just on edge. And so I was like, this isn't me.
[00:12:04] This does not feel like me. I want to be calm. And so I would release, I would do things to release the tension in my body. I would become aware of the processes and the thought patterns in my mind, and then I would start to identify what the energy was in each situation. And so if, if I went into a situation and you know, think of it as in terms of vibration. So if it was a hectic, chaotic vibration, that's not calm, okay? So I'd already identified what calm felt like for me. So if I was then put into a chaotic situation, the difference between that calm state and that chaotic state, okay, I could identify it and then I could work towards bringing that down, so bringing that chaotic vibration down. So if it's like, you know, zipping up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down. Yeah, that's energetic awareness.
[00:13:20] At the moment, I've identified that I don't want to be living the way that I've been brought up to believe, how I should live.
[00:13:40] So this first became apparent when I was in school. It just didn't gel with me.
[00:13:47] I now know that it was because it's school's very much left brain dominant left brain focused facts, figures, logic, processes, yada yada yada.
[00:14:02] Whenever I tried to implement bigger picture, how does this relate to life? In what context can we use this ran into problems. That's not what school was for. It was get through school, do a trade or go to university.
[00:14:23] You know, it's this step, this step, this step when you get to. And it was very much two dimensional, it was either this or that. In fact as we're seeing at the moment, you are getting more pushed into it's this. There is no this or that, it's this.
[00:14:45] But for most mainstream education it's two dimensional, it's this or it's that. Whereas I was exploring three and four dimensional understandings. So it's this, that or the other or it's this, that or the other in different, different states of consciousness or different states of awareness.
[00:15:15] Getting a little deep there and I go into a lot of that in, in dynamic self awareness itself. But even back in school I started to realize that I was getting pushed away from my dynamic state, my energetic signature and thankfully I held on to enough of it that I didn't get completely lost in, in a signature that wasn't mine.
[00:15:52] But I did walk away from that for extended periods of time and when I did finally sort of drop into that energetic signature, everything worked out absolutely bloody perfect and just, everything just clicked.
[00:16:15] How did I lose that? Just circumstances changed. I actually this isn't to blame anyone or anything but I, I shifted dynamics from a self dynamic to, to working with others to, to relationship dynamics, family dynamics, supporting a family and I still had sort of things that I needed to deal with as well. And so slowly, slowly, slowly I've been working through those things and I've got to a point now where I am ready to make that shift back into and live and embody on all levels, all dynamics my energetic signature and to evolve that if I had to put it into a very simple sentence and I, I really don't like doing this because it makes me feel like a deal.
[00:17:13] But I would have to say that I'm here to teach.
[00:17:17] I'm here to and for me I'm here to teach self healing. That's what I've, I've been drawn to. That's what that's my essence is about self healing. It's about doing it yourself. Okay, so some people might be drawn to do it yourself building I'm drawn to do it yourself healing and because I think you can do it. And I've done it myself and I've proven to myself that it can be done. I've helped other people do it. Now I want to empower others to do it themselves. And that's what Dynamic Self awareness is all about. And that's what this change series is getting you ready for, is to start to become aware of A, the need to change, B, the reason for that change, which is, you know that you have become misaligned with your energetic signature and see how to go about implementing that change. So within the Dynamic Self awareness website, we will explore that again. This is where we sort of get into things like focus, intentional movement. Okay, so this is practicing embodiment of those, of that energy.
[00:18:33] And we get into, you know, how to use your attention, how to use your, your senses, your sensory system within your body, how to use your mind and how to.
[00:18:48] So let's see if I can think of an example.
[00:18:54] Okay, so if I want to teach, okay, so I have this thing and it's based on that calm. So if I then go out and start to, you know, if I read something and get angry about it, that's not calm. Okay, so I'm using my mind to figure out how I can change from getting angry and, and reactive against things in my environment.
[00:19:24] How can I use my mind to overcome that and to switch it around and tell myself a different story?
[00:19:31] Okay, I, I did have this in. When I was at, at one point in my life when I was a bit younger, I didn't think badly of anyone. In fact, I made, I won't make, I won't say excuses, but I'll have to because I can't think of a better word. But I, I, if someone said, oh, this person's gonna, I'd go, yeah, but have you ever thought of this? Like, I just always had this ability to see a different perspective of how my people were doing, what they were doing. If it was, you know, considered a negative action that they were doing or a negative expression, I say, yeah, but yeah, it could be this did a little and so, but that dropped out. I said, I, I became overwhelmed with other things, I guess, or I was learning other things, who knows? But I, I've slipped out of that and I've become a little bit judgmental and I don't want to be like that because it interpolates my field, it turbulates my energy and it makes me not feel like me.
[00:20:41] And it, once you get that in your field, you tend to make bad decisions and you tend to Feel chaotic and you tend to sort of.
[00:20:57] You just don't feel good. And you're moving through life with this energetic field. That's not really you and it's not really working for you and, and you know, you're unhappy and everything sort of becomes a bit of a chore. And it's hard. It's like slogging through, you know, mud. It's just, it's not fun. And so I'm endeavoring to do something about that. And at the moment, I have built in my mind and in my body. Well, I haven't quite embodied it yet. That's, that's what this process is about. But I have in my mind I understand my energetic signature on an energetic level. I understand it now on a mind level. Okay. The final step is to drop into and live it fully every single moment of every single day.
[00:21:59] Is that hard?
[00:22:04] Yes and no.
[00:22:07] If you do it without making proper preparations.
[00:22:11] Yeah, yeah. It's tricky because you'll, you'll probably fall out of alignment quite quickly and then wonder why it's like, whoa. But I made the decision. Yeah.
[00:22:24] You know, we have to sort of set up these fields and these, what I call engines enable, that will enable us to do the work to stay in, in that, in that alignment with your energetic signature. Again, these are all just words. So I just want to. Want you to start getting a different perspective. Start to shift from where you are now. If you want to make change. Start to shift from where you are now. Those patterns, just step back. Okay. One of the easiest ways to do that is to just bring your attention, your awareness to the back of your head. Okay. Bring your awareness out of that prefrontal cortex, which is putting those steps in place. It's our logical thinking part of our brain and that's where all our ingrained patterns are, our conscious patterns. So pull your awareness to the back of your head. Use your peripheral vision. Expand your awareness. Okay. Move out of that pulse energy of. Yeah. Constant thinking, constant activity, constant motion.
[00:23:35] Bring it back, expand.
[00:23:39] Allow different viewpoints to come in.
[00:23:46] Once you do this, you'll. It'll be easier for you to connect with your own energetic signature.
[00:23:54] Hopefully this is making sense and this is the, the trade off, I guess, in, in free form or story mode of, of, of, of teaching and that, you know, set down, take these steps kind of mode, you know, that I guess it is really is that difference between left and right.
[00:24:21] And so as much as, you know, you might get the context of change from what I'm saying now, you need to go and back it up with the. With the steps.
[00:24:32] And for each of the things that I speak about, I have a way to individualize it, practice it, work on it, and then incorporate it back into yourself.
[00:24:49] But you just have to take my word for it on that at present because. Yeah, so it's not quite up and running yet, but it will be soon, very shortly.
[00:24:57] So please, I'm gonna kind of end this here, but best thing you can do is follow along probably on Instagram or Facebook, it doesn't matter which. And TikTok, where I'll be just posting my everyday stuff. Okay. So that will be, you know, my.
[00:25:23] My patterns that I'm. That I'm implementing. So that's from the moment I wake up.
[00:25:28] My mindset during the day, my way that I move during the day, my sort of how I set goals, I do things a little bit differently is pretty much just a promotion of my energetic signature. So I hold that energy and I just. I put it out there in like a field sense. I'll show you how to do that in the within dsa.
[00:25:56] I'll show you everything. And like I said there. Well, I'm not sure whether I've mentioned it yet, but you'll be able to access all this material for free. Okay. There will be a price set on things, but you will be able to access it for free if you cannot afford it. All right. If you do want to work with me one on one, I will be charging for that, of course.
[00:26:22] But. But I.
[00:26:26] This stuff's tricky because, you know, you could turn around and say, well, what proof have you got that it works? You know, where's the science behind it?
[00:26:37] And unfortunately, a lot of this stuff is subjective, which means it's purely your experience.
[00:26:43] So I want you to come at it from that sense, like, forget about, you know, make your own proof, okay? Just play around with this stuff and see if there's any merit to what I say and then make your own mind up.
[00:26:59] The more we go outside of ourselves for understanding or, you know, for information about what's right for us, we're just adding in all these extra steps and all these extra filters between us who, you know, between our conscious self and our deepest, deepest nature. Nature. And once you access that deep, deep nature, your energy, what I call your energetic signature, you'll never be the same again. 100 guarantee it. You'll be. You'll be like you're going home. You'll feel like nothing can get in your way. It's. It's that base feeling of things aren't going to get any worse for me because I know this feeling, it's been with me my whole life and once you start to live it as I'm, you know, hopefully going to show you, things just work out okay. So like I said, I've done it before on my own. I just, I now have a family and I have commitments supposedly. And yeah, it's a different dynamic but I'm pretty confident that the same rules still apply.
[00:28:17] So that's what I'm endeavoring to experience, what I'm endeavoring to share and promote with you through this, my social media platforms and through the website.
[00:28:31] And yeah, we go from there.
[00:28:36] So this is going to be the overall picture. If there's any aspects of your life that you need to or you feel you need to heal, that'll definitely be within dsa. So, you know, I've had to heal different aspects of myself in order to, to get me ready to embody this, you know, my true nature.
[00:29:01] And that's probably going to be ongoing.
[00:29:04] But you can sort of oscillate between the two. So you know, you can, you can work on that self healing aspect knowing that this, this baseline is in place. So knowing that you're not going to get any worse and so you just, you know, that self care aspect in order for you to move forward, self care, move forward. You know, you're just working in these, these flows of out and in and out and in until such time as it just becomes one.

How can we be more of who we are and allow others and help others to be more of who they are so that we can be better human beings in the process.
